Saving to a Blank Project
In order to perform a Save As on a blank project, follow the below steps:
- Log in to Qualitia as a User with Product Administration privilege.
- Navigate to Admin > Projects.
A list of Qualitia projects is displayed. (In the figure, ASP_Project is the project which will be copied into the new empty project.) - Select the Source Project and click Save As button. The Save As dialog box will open.
- Select the Target Project from the drop down available.
- You can perform save as operation on the selected artifact type by using the filter available.
- You can filter the view on Artifact type and change status of the artifacts (first time copy will display all artifacts as they have never been copied to a Source Project).
- Select artifact to view its details.
- Select only individual artifacts.
- Mark all displayed artifacts to copy.
- Click Preview button to open the Save As Preview Report and view its results.
- Expand LHS tree view to view contents of test cases/task/action.
- Select test cases node to view task list on RHS pane.
- Select Task Node to view status of objects and actions used in the task.
- Click Finish to complete the operation.
- An information message is displayed to indicate if Save was successful. Click Yes to export the report to a spreadsheet.
- If Save As operation has found artifacts which are already existing or conflicting in the Target Project, then the message changes. Click Yes to export the report to a spreadsheet.
- The spreadsheet report is displayed. It can be saved at any desired location.
