Saving to a Blank Project

In order to perform a Save As on a blank project, follow the below steps:

  1. Log in to Qualitia as a User with Product Administration privilege.
  2. Navigate to Admin > Projects.
    A list of Qualitia projects is displayed. (In the figure, ASP_Project is the project which will be copied into the new empty project.) 
  3. Select the Source Project and click Save As button. The Save As dialog box will open.
     
  4. Select the Target Project from the drop down available.
  5.   You can perform save as operation on the selected artifact type by using the filter available.
  6.   You can filter the view on Artifact type and change status of the artifacts (first time copy will display all artifacts as they have never been copied to a Source Project).
  7.   Select artifact to view its details.
  8. Select only individual artifacts.
  9. Mark all displayed artifacts to copy.
  10. Click Preview button to open the Save As Preview Report and view its results.
     
  11. Expand LHS tree view to view contents of test cases/task/action.
  12. Select test cases node to view task list on RHS pane.
  13. Select Task Node to view status of objects and actions used in the task. 
  14. Click Finish to complete the operation.
  15. An information message is displayed to indicate if Save was successful. Click Yes to export the report to a spreadsheet.
  16. If Save As operation has found artifacts which are already existing or conflicting in the Target Project, then the message changes. Click Yes to export the report to a spreadsheet.
  17. The spreadsheet report is displayed. It can be saved at any desired location.
