Installation and Configuration
Installing Qualitia Execution Agent
Follow the steps mentioned below to install Qualitia Execution Agent.
- Download QEA Setup from Dropbox.
- Double-click QEA.msi.
The Qualitia Setup window with Welcome section is displayed. - Select the installation location and permission for installation and click Next.
- Once installation is complete, click Close.
Configuring Qualitia Execution Agent
Follow the steps mentioned below to configure Qualitia Execution Agent.
- Launch QEA.
If the default values in Qualitia configuration are not correct, QEA will not be launched and you will get a popup window with the corresponding message. - Click OK.
The Qualitia Configuration window appears. - Enter all the required details like Database Server, Database Name and so on and then click OK to save the settings.
- Launch QEA again.
Configuration Settings for QEA-QST (Qualitia SpiraTest)
Follow the steps mentioned below to configure Qualitia Execution Agent (QEA) along with Qualitia SpiraTest (QST).
- Launch QEA.
- Right-click QEA icon in task bar.
- Select Setting and then click Qualitia Agent.
- The Client Setup tab appears in QEA.
Incorrect values cannot be saved on this page. - In SpiraTest Server Connection, enter Server URL, Login Username and Login Password.
- In the Server Plling section, enter Automation Host Token.
- Select Automatically run test cases that are overdue and Continue Polling server after a connect error options as per the requirements.
- Enter Polling Frequency and Read Ahead in minutes.
- To execute Test Sets that are scheduled for a future time, click Force Execute.
- To poll before the polling cycle, click Force Poll.
- Click Save.
