Working with Descriptive Programming Objects
Qualitia users can add the objects manually from the Objects screen or they can import .bdb or .tsr files which contain the set of required objects of application under test.
Manually Adding DP Objects in Qualitia
Qualitia users can add DP objects manually one by one in Qualitia from the Objects screen.
To manually add new DP objects in Qualitia:
- Log on to Qualitia Automation Studio.
- On the Develop tab, click Objects.
- To add a new DP object, click DP in the object tree.
- In the right pane, click New.
- Enter the object details such as, Object Name, Description, Class, and so on.
- Click OK.
Once an object is added successfully, you can view the object under DP objects.
Importing DP Objects in Qualitia
Qualitia users can import the set of objects saved in the .bdb or .tsr files.
- Log on to Qualitia Automation Studio.
- On the Develop tab, click Objects.
- To import objects, click the Import button in the left pane.
- Select the .bdb or .tsr file from the local drive.
Once the file is imported successfully, you can view the list of objects in Qualitia objects library under DP objects.
