Removing a Scenario

Qualitia allows you removing unnecessary scenarios that become obsolete over the course of the project.

If you want to remove a scenario that contains test cases, you need to assign these test cases to a different scenario. You can assign these test cases to different scenario editing the respective test cases.

In Qualitia, using Test Cases screen you can remove a scenario.

To remove a scenario:

  1. Click Develop > Test Cases.
    The Test Cases screen appears. On the left pane, scenarios are organized in a tree structure and on the right pane, a list of available scenarios appears in a tabular format.
  2. On the left pane, select the root scenario.
  3. On the right pane, select the required scenario that needs to be removed.
  4. Click Remove.
    The system asks for confirmation about the deletion of the selected scenario.
  5. Click Yes.

The scenario is removed from the project. After deletion, the scenario is no longer available on the left pane under the root scenario.

(tick) If you attempt to delete a scenario that has test cases associated with it, the system displays the message that the scenario cannot be deleted.
