Installing Qualitia Execution Agent

Follow the steps mentioned below to install Qualitia Execution Agent.

1. Download QEA Setup from Dropbox.
2. Double-click QEA.msi.
   The Qualitia Setup window with Welcome section is displayed.
3. Select the installation location and permission for installation and click Next.
   
4. Once installation is complete, click Close.

Configuring Qualitia Execution Agent

Follow the steps mentioned below to configure Qualitia Execution Agent.

1. Launch QEA.
   If the default values in Qualitia configuration are not correct, QEA will not be launched and you will get a popup window with the corresponding message.
2. Click OK.
   The Qualitia Configuration window appears.
3. Enter all the required details like Database Server, Database Name and so on and then click OK to save the settings.
4. Launch QEA again.

Configuration Settings for QEA-QST (Qualitia SpiraTest)

Follow the steps mentioned below to configure Qualitia Execution Agent (QEA) along with Qualitia SpiraTest (QST).

1. Launch QEA.
2. Right-click QEA icon in task bar.
3. Select Setting and then click Qualitia Agent.
   
   
4. The Client Setup tab appears in QEA.
    Incorrect values cannot be saved on this page.
5. In the SpiraTest Server Connection, enter Server URL, Login Username and Login Password. 
6. In the Server Plling section, enter Automation Host Token.
7. Select Automatically run test cases that are overdue and Continue Polling server after a connect error options as per the requirements.
8. Enter Polling Frequency and Read Ahead in minutes. 
   
   
9. To execute Test Sets which are scheduled for a future time, click Force Execute.
10. To poll prior to polling cycle, click Force Poll.
11. Click Save.
