A Qualitia license server is required as part of the Qualitia License installation. License manager uses concurrent licensing policy. A license server should be a Windows system on the network which should be up at all times.

Identifying Qualitia License Server

This server will host the Qualitia license server and licenses are to be mandatorily activated on this system. This server should be continuously running and accessible. The operating system supported is only Microsoft Windows. The license server system should have the port 1947 open.

Installing License Server

This license server enforces product use terms as per the license purchased by you. The license server has its own portal which is available at the URL: http://localhost:1947.

Ensure that the haspdinst.exe is whitelisted in your virus checking software (AKA anti-virus software).

The haspdinst.exe is provided by Qualitia with Qualitia Automation Studio setup.

  1. Run the following command from a command prompt (the command prompt should be run as administrator):

Qualitia Product Activation

Qualitia uses Qualitia Customer Portal to complete the product activation process. When you purchase a Qualitia product license, you will receive a product key which is required during product activation.

The customer portal supports online as well as offline activation, however, Qualitia recommends using offline activation

To activate product:

Log on to Qualitia Customer Portal using the product key that is supplied.

If you have not registered with the Qualitia Licensing Server, you will not be able to proceed. Once you register by entering the required details, you will be able to see the product details.
