Object identification is an essential part of software automation testing.

This section helps you identifying object properties Web applications with the help of Object Spy utility developed by Qualitia. 

To identify objects of application under test:

  1. Log on to Qualitia Automation Studio.
  2. On Develop, click Objects
  3. From the left pane, click Spy.
    Internet Explorer browser opens. 
  4. Navigate to the Web application URL from where you want to add objects.
    For example: https://www.linkedin.com/
  5. Right click the object and click Add Object from the context-menu which you want to use in your test case.
    For example: Text boxes to add Email and Password, Sign in button, and so forth.
  6. Rename objects, if required.
  7. Click Save.
    The objects are now added to the object repository and you can now use them when creating test cases.
