If you are already using Qualitia Design Studio, you can easily upgrade to the latest version.
To upgrade Qualitia Design Studio on the JIRA Server:
Ensure you have activated license for Qualitia Design Studio.
Ensure you have installed Qualitia Automation Studio 5.2 or above.
Ensure Qualitia Server is up and running.
Ensure communication port 8889 is open and accessible from the machine where Qualitia Server is installed. Log on to your JIRA instance as an administrator user.
Download the latest version of Qualitia Design Studio Jar package.
- Back up the JIRA projects before you start upgrade.
In case the upgrade fails, you can restore the data using this back up. Click the Administration (
) icon and select Add-Ons from the list.
The Administrator Access screen appears.Enter JIRA Admin credentials.
The Find new add-ons screen appears.In the left pane, click Manage Add-ons.
Click Upload Add-on.
Select the .jar file provided by Qualitia.
A confirmation dialog displays a message that the installation was successful and add-on is enabled.- Hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R) the browser at all the instances where Qualitia Design Studio is installed to see the changes.
Please clear the browser cache post upgrade. To start working with Qualitia Design Studio, click Qualitia > Requirements from the top menu items.
