Adding New Objects

The first step in the automation of manual test cases is the creation of objects. While creating an object, you need to first identify the controls of the application under test and gather information about object properties.

Qualitia users can add new DP objects from the Object screen of Qualitia Automation Studio.

To add a DP object:

1. Click Develop > Objects.
2. In the object tree, click DP.
3. In the right pane, click the New button.
   The New screen appears.
4. Click Browse to select parent object.
5. Enter Object Name and Description.
6. Select Technology and Object Class.
7. Click Add button to add object property and property values.
8. Click OK to save the details.
