In Qualitia Automation Studio (QAS), a user can be assigned multiple projects and roles. It's essential to manage and work on all these projects effectively. After logging in, you'll be able to access all your assigned projects and easily switch between them as needed.

📚Prerequisites

  1. User can see only the projects assigned to them using the Project dropdown list.

  2. User should be part of more than one projects to be able to switch. 

🔃Switch projects

  1. Login to QAS - Client.

  2. User can view the Project dropdown field from any of the navigated tab, such as Execute, Develop, Reports, and Dashboards screens.

  3. Open Project Selection: Look for the Project dropdown field on the top menu (next to the hamburger menu or the menu with three horizontal lines).

    1. If a user is removed from one more project, they will not be able to view or switch to those projects.

  4. Click on the dropdown arrow next to it.

    1. You will see the message “Opening project. Please wait”. After this, you will get to view the dropdown list.

  5. Choose Your Project: A dropdown list will appear showing all the projects assigned to you. Simply select the project you want to switch to.

    View Project Details: Once a project is selected, all relevant details for that project will be displayed. This allows you to start working on the selected project immediately.

Keyboard Navigation: Users can navigate between the dropdown list options using the up or down keys on the keyboard. Pressing the Enter key should allow users to switch to the selected project.

For Mac users, the Desktop projects are not displayed in the list of projects available for switching.

This feature makes it easy for you to navigate between different projects, thus improving your productivity and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
