The IE Recorder is an add-on that helps you to record a web application on Internet Explorer. While recording a web application, you are prompted to install the IE recorder when you select Internet Explorer for the first time.
Before you start installing the IE recorder, ensure that:
You have the Administrative Privileges to install IE add-ons
You have closed all the instances of Internet Explorer
You have performed the steps up to 4b as mentioned in https://qualitia.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/QAS80/pages/1718945562/Recording+a+Test+Case+using+Qualitia+Automation+Studio+Recorder#Recording-a-Test-Case-for-a-Web-Application to select Internet Explorer.
To install the IE Recorder:
After selecting Internet Explorer, the following confirmation message is displayed.
Click Yes if you have administrative privileges.
The following Windows confirmation message appears:
Click Yes.
If any Internet Explorer instance is open, a message displays to close all the Internet Explorer instances.
Close all the IE instances, and click Retry.
Qualitia Automation Studio launches Internet Explorer.In the Internet Explorer, click Settings > Manage Add-ons.
Enable the IERecorder.
Click Settings > Internet Options > Security.
Under select a zone to view or change security settings, deselect the Enable Protect Mode checkbox for all the following options, and then click OK:
Internet
Local Intranet
Trusted Sites
Restricted Sites
Close Internet Explorer.
Relaunch Internet Explorer from the Qualitia Automation Web Recorder.
To launch the Internet explorer from the Qualitia Automation Web Recorder, refer tohttps://qualitia.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/QAS80/pages/1718945562/Recording+a+Test+Case+using+Qualitia+Automation+Studio+Recorder#Recording-a-Test-Case-for-a-Web-Application .The Recorder Controls toolbar of the Qualitia Automation Web Recorder is displayed. If it is not displayed, refresh Internet Explorer.
You can now start recording the web application using Internet Explorer.
