Understanding the Purge Data Tab

Column

Description

Generated On

The date when report was created.

Suite Name

The name of test suite.

Project Name

The name of project linked to test suite.

Execution Type

  • Specifies how test suite was executed. It can be: Qualitia if run through a QAS Client

  • Offline if run offline, either standalone or using a CI server

CI Tool

The name of CI tool used.

Iteration No

The iteration number of the test suite execution

Total Size

The total size of the report data, including screenshots and logs.

Report Size

The size of the report data, not including screenshots and logs.

Images Size

The size of the screenshots linked to the report.

Logs Size

The size of the log files linked to the report.

Test Cases

The number of test cases in the test suite.

Test Case Execution Status

The number of test cases that:

  • Passed

  • Failed

  • Have defects

  • Have not been executed yet

Purging Selected Reports

To remove certain reports, tick their boxes. You can also filter the reports list to find the ones you want to delete more easily.

  1. Click Purge Data.

  2. Tick the boxes for:

    1. All Report Files if you want to remove all data and folders related to the selected reports. The execution summary will still be stored in the database.

    2. Images Only if you only want to remove screenshots.

    3. Logs Only if you only want to remove log files.

  3. Click Purge.

  4. You'll see a warning telling informing you how many reports and how much storage is about to size of data that will be removed.

  5. Click Continue.

Filtering Suite Execution Reports

You can filter reports based on project, build or release number of Projects, Test Suite, Execution TypeTypes, CI Tools, User, and include aborted suite executions if needed.

  1. Select a date range or hit the Filter button.

  2. Choose the filter options that suit your needs.

Checking Purge History and Managing Server Settings

Log Details

The Logs tab contains the history of all the purges you've done before. Here's what you'll find:

Info Type

Description

Date

The date and time of each purge.

Activity

What kind of purge activity was done.

User

Who did the purge.

Purge Details

What types of data were removed.

Data Size

How much data was purged.

Purge Status

The status such as Purged/Not Purged.

Click this to see the details of the purged test suite execution reports.
