Qualitia allows you to delete the tasks which are not required in the future.

To delete a task:

  1. Click Develop > Tasks.
    The Tasks screen is displayed. The screen is divided into two main panes, left pane and right pane. On the left pane, all the existing tasks are organized in a tree structure. On the right pane, a tabular list of steps within the task is displayed.
  2. On the left pane, select a required Task.
  3. Right-click the selected task and click Remove Task.
    A context menu is displayed.
  4. Click Remove Task from the menu.
    The task which is used in one or more test cases cannot be removed.
    If the task is not used in any test cases, system asks for confirmation about deletion of the task.
  5. Click Yes.
    The task is removed from the project.
