UI Object identification is an integral part of Software Automation Testing. There are multiple approaches for identifying and storing objects to be used in the required test cases from the application under test. Qualitia supports two approaches to store and maintain objects of AUT to use them in tasks and test cases these are Object Repository and Descriptive Programming.

You can use the HP Unified Functional Testing Tool (UFT) to create and maintain a set of objects of AUT to be used in test cases.

Qualitia displays two separate object trees for the objects being stored by these two different approaches viz. Object Repository and Description Programming. You can use both the types of objects in a single test case.
