Creating a Project

You can create new projects and add users with different roles to them. Using a project, you can do testing on either web and mobile applications, or desktop applications only. 

To create a project:

1. Go to Admin>Project.
2. Click New.
3. Click anyone of the following tabs:
   • Web/Mobile: To create a project to automate testing on web or mobile applications or on both of them.
   • Desktop: To create test artifacts to automate testing on desktop applications only.
4. If you want to create a project for testing desktop application, click the Desktop tab.
5. Enter a Project Name and a Description.
6. Perform this step only if you are creating a desktop project and you have a tsr file ready to use as OR objects.
   Click the Browse (...) button next to the Global TSR Path field, and then locate and select the tsr file. Else, you can later on map your project with a tsr file.

7. Perform the following steps only if you want to integrate with a Qualitia Design Studio Project, select the Design Studio Integration checkbox.
   Do the following in the order listed.
   
   1. Click Create.
   2. Under Connect with Design Studio, enter the following Qualitia Design Studio project details:
      1. Enter the Qualitia Design Studio URL.
      2. Enter your Qualitia Design Studio Username and Password.
   3. Expand Sync with Design Studio Project to select an appropriate Qualitia Design Studio Project and click Sync.
      The following relevant project artifacts of the Qualitia Design Studio project along with their counts appear:
      1. Issue Types
      2. Issues
      3. Objects
      4. Tasks
      5. Test Cases
   4. Click Finish.
8. Click Create.
