Web Dashboards
- Defects logged from offline package executions will not be shown in the Defects logged report of the dashboard in this release.
Once the offline package retries push of the offline execution reports that had failed to be pushed earlier and is able to send the reports to Qualitia server, the retry is considered successful and the process terminates. If a failure occurs within QAS server subsequently, while posting results to the database, the results from affected reports will not be available in the dashboard. A complete handling of such failure situations will be implemented in a subsequent release.
- You cannot access Web dashboards using an LDAP user. To access dashboards, you must login as an active Qualitia user.
Qualitia Automation Studio
- You cannot use project and test case save as in the Qualitia Design Studio integrated projects.
- While comparing conditional expression with special JavaScript characters, Qualitia prints escape characters into Qualitia reports (Info Log).
- When using the REST.ExecuteAPIService action, once enabled, SSL certificate cannot be disabled in that test case in the case of multiple occurrences of the same service.
- SmartLocator support is not enabled for Mobile web and Hybrid application when it comes to execution.
- To execute the test case on the iOS platform for native and hybrid applications, a dummy activity name must be provided.
- You might face an issue when executing test case on Moto G mobiles with an exception message as "it is impossible to create a new session because 'createSession' which takes HttpClient, InputStream and long was not found or it is not accessible"
Mobile Object Spy
- Internet Explorer and Edge browsers are not supported for Mobile Object Spy.
- Objects inside frames cannot be highlighted.
- Objects enabled with SmartLocator feature cannot be updated from the mobile object spy.
- Currently, you cannot view the mobile devices in the landscape mode.
- The physical keyboard cannot be used to type or perform any action on mobile devices.
- Some system or other applications may not get launched on mobile devices. Qualitia Mobile object spy will not display any information messages for these applications launch events.
- You cannot access Mobile object spy using an LDAP user. To access dashboards, you must login as an active Qualitia user.
- Highlighting for an object is very slow for native objects added through XPath.
- You may not find already connected real devices after you restart the agent. Disconnect and reconnect devices manually to get them visible for use.
- WebView on iOS simulator is not supported.
- Updating Object name and class for Empty object is not supported.
- Mobile Object Spy supports Hybrid application with the debug enabled/Developer mode build only.
- SmartLocator support is not enabled for Mobile web and Hybrid application when it comes to execution.
- Android Emulator with API version 29(Android Q) is not supported.
Custom Actions Module:
- Currently Qualitia supports creation of Java files with the template into its custom action Java project. Qualitia launches these java files in Eclipse but ensure that the code you write is compiled and build successfully before closing the Eclipse.
After closing the Eclipse any modification you make in the project will directly get committed to the repository. - Any conflicts in code will not be handled by Qualitia. You must resolve the conflicts manually.
TFS/Azure DevOps Integration
Updates in the environment variable do not affect the Publish status of the test case in the Execute (Integration Status) screen. You must republish test cases which uses such updated environment variables. Executing such test cases using build or release cycles without republishing may result in test case failure.
