Qualitia recommends to use one of the following 64-bit JRE versions on which regression testing for QAS has been successful:
If you use QAS on the unrecommended JRE versions, you may get unexpected results. In this case, you can create a ticket in the Qualitia Support Portal, but the resolution may take time.
Similarly, Qualitia does not recommend to use Java version higher than Java 8. If you install a higher Java version such as Java 9 or Java 11, then QAS may not work as expected.
Azul Java (Recommended)
Qualitia recommends to use Azul Java for the following reasons:
Free and open source (OpenJDK-based distributions with no field of use restriction)
Azul Java Development Kits and Java runtimes are certified fully compliant with the Java platform, Standard Edition (Java SE) specifications.
