Removing Tasks

You can remove the tasks that are obsolete and no longer required for automation scripts. You can remove tasks from the tasks section.

Test cases can be removed from the design studio only.

Tasks used in the test cases which are shared for design updates cannot be removed from the automation studio unless they are shared back for automation from Qualitia Design Studio.

The lock sign prior to the test case/task name indicates that this test case is shared for design updates and tasks from such test cases cannot be deleted from automation studio.

To remove tasks or test cases:

Log on to automation studio as an administrator user.
To remove the tasks, navigate to the Develop > Tasks.
You will find all the manual test cases or tasks in the left-pane.
Filter and find the desired test cases/tasks based on Epics and Stories, as required.
Right-click the task or test case in the left-pane and select Remove.
You cannot remove the task if the task is used in any of the existing manual or automated test case.
