Qualitia employs a product key based software licensing mechanism. Qualitia license needs to be activated using the supplied product key, on a designated License Manager computer in the network, before Qualitia can be used.

A license manager is installed as part of the Qualitia installation. This license manager allows product use as per the license purchased by the customer. The license manager on each computer has its own portal which is available on the following URL: http://localhost:1947

Qualitia recommends identifying one Windows computer on the network to be used as the License Manager. Qualitia license should be activated only on this computer. License activation can be performed as per steps provided in License Management Setup. The License Manager computer should be powered up and available on the network when Qualitia Client is being used on other computers in the network. If the License Manager computer is not accessible over the network, license check will fail and Qualitia cannot be used on any computer in the network.
