Adding Object Spy as a Browser Extension

Qualitia Object Spy, a tool designed for you to incorporate the components of your application for testing, can be added as an extension on browsers such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. This allows you to interact directly with your test application, making the process of creating test cases in the Qualitia Automation Studio client far more efficient and effective.

However, you should take note that Qualitia Object Spy isn't compatible with Mozilla Firefox.

Transforming your browser into a powerful testing tool involves downloading the Qualitia Object Spy extension and launching it. This extension is available for both Chrome and Edge browsers.

Qualitia has made your life easy, and you don’t have to add the plugin to your browser. All you need to do is simply launch the Qualitia Object Spy from the Qualitia Automation Studio client and it will be automatically installed.

Here's how you can set up Qualitia Object Spy as an extension in your browser:

Download the relevant extension for your browser (Chrome or Edge) from the S3 location and save it to your computer.
Depending on your browser choice, extract the respective QualitiaChromeExtension-9.x.x or QualitiaEdgeExtension--9.x.x zip file into a local folder on your computer.
Open your selected browser: Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Navigate to the extensions page by typing chrome://extensions/ into the address bar if you're using Chrome, or edge://extensions/ if you're using Edge.
Turn on Developer Mode.
Select the Load Unpacked option.
Choose the location where you've extracted the zip file (QualitiaChromeExtension-9.x.x for Chrome users, or QualitiaEdgeExtension-9.x.x for Edge users).
Confirm your choice by clicking OK.

Once completed, you are ready to launch the Qualitia Object Spy on your selected browser.
