Linking a Qualitia Test Case to a Azure DevOps Test

You can link a Azure DevOps test case to only one Qualitia test case. 

Ensure that you have linked your associated Qualitia projects to Azure DevOps projects. For more information, refer to Link your Qualitia project to Azure DevOps project.

To link a Qualitia test case to a Azure DevOps tests:

  1. You can link a test case either from the Test Case Editor screen or the Integration Status screen.

    • To link a test case from the Test Case Editor screen:

      1. From the Expand Menu, click Develop.

      2. From the left pane, select a scenario, and open the test case.

      3. Click the Link button () next to Integration Information.

    • To link a test case from the Integration Status screen:

      1. From the Expand Menu, click Execute.

      2. Click the Integration Status tab.
        A list of test cases is displayed.

      3. Click the Link/Unlink button () for the test case.

  2. In the Link Test Case pop-up screen, which opens as shown in the following figure:




  3. From the Select Test Plan list, select the associated Azure DevOps test plan.

  4. From the Select Test Suite list, select the associated Azure DevOps test suite.

  5. Click Get Test Cases.
    The associated Azure DevOps tests that are not yet linked are displayed in the box below to the Search Test Case option.

  6. If you want to search a Azure DevOps test by its name, enter the test name in the Search Test Case text box

  7. Select the Azure DevOps test to which you want to link to the selected Qualitia test case.  

  8. Click Link.
    Qualitia test case is now linked to the selected Azure DevOps test.
    After you link Qualitia test case to Azure DevOps test, the Azure DevOps updates the automation status of the Azure DevOps test to Automated.

  9. To view the status of the test case in Azure DevOps:

    1. In Azure DevOps, select the test suite. 

    2. In the Automation Status column, the status is updated to Automated.





    3. Open the test case, click the Steps tab, the automation status is updated to Automated.
      This indicates the test case is now linked to the Qualitia automated test case.
