SSO Documentation
Qualitia Automation Studio (QAS) now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality, enabling users to authenticate seamlessly using their existing enterprise credentials. With SSO, users no longer need to manage multiple passwords, improving both convenience and security.
Key Benefits of SSO in QAS:
Simplified Access: Users can log in once with their organization’s identity provider and gain access to QAS without additional credentials.
Enhanced Security: Reduces password fatigue and minimizes security risks by centralizing authentication through secure identity providers.
Faster Onboarding: Streamlines the process for new users by integrating with existing identity management systems.
This feature is compatible with popular identity providers such as Okta, SAML, and Entra. SSO integration aligns Qualitia with modern enterprise authentication practices, ensuring ease of use and security.
Okta ConfigurationÂ
Follow the below steps to configure Okta:
Open Okta site on browser https://trial-8378850.okta.com
Enter valid login credentials.
Once you Sign in to Okta, you will be able to see the Okta home page
Click Applications from left menu.
Now, click Create App Integration.
Select SAML 2.0 and click Next.
 Now enter the details for the following fields under General Settings and click Next.

Under Configure SAML Settings, update the following fields:
Add Singal Sign on URL. For example, http//192.168.34.43:8887/auth/callback.
Add Audience URL (SP Entity ID). For example, http://192.168.34.43:8887.
Select Name ID format as EmailAddress.
Under Attribute Statements update the following fields (Optional).
Add Name
Enter Name as FirstName
Select Name Format as Basic
Enter Name as LastName
Select Name Format as Basic
Add Value
Enter Value as User.FirstName
Enter Value as User.LastName
Preview the Settings and click Next.
Under Feedback Setting, select This is an internal app that we have created and click Finish.
You will see below window
Copy the Issuer ID and replace that ID in Configure SAML -> Audience URL (SP Entity ID)
Click Next and Finish.
You can now assign users in Okta for created application by following the below-mentioned steps.
Go to Applications.
Click Assignments.
Click Assign and select Assign to people.
Select users and click Assign.
Click Save and Go Back.
You will see all assigned users.
You have successfully linked Qualitia Users in Okta. Now you can add Qualitia User to a project.
Go to Directory.
Click Directory Integrations.
Go to Active Directory.
Click Import.
Select User check checkbox and click Confirm Assignment.
Click Confirm to continue.
Go to Applications and assign that user to your project.
Open Qualitia Portal.
Admin needs to Log in to the Portal and Configure SSO from the Configuration tab. For more details, refer SSO Documentation | Configure SSO on Server.
Create user in Qualitia and then Use that user to login using SSO.
Go to Portal, on Login Page click Use SSO.
Enter Email ID and click Login.
Configure SSO on Server
To use Single Sign On (SSO) Login you need to configure SSO on the Server.
Prerequisites:
Qualitia Server must be installed.
Qualitia Server portal must be accessible.

To configure SSO on server:
Open Qualitia Server Portal on the browser.
Access Configuration from the left navigation menu to open Configuration Details Page.
Click Edit (pencil) icon next to Configuration to enable editing.
On Configuration Details Page scroll down to the Authentication section, at the bottom of the page.
Under the Authentication section, the SSO Identity Provider will have three options to select from.
Okta
Select Okta and enter the IdP Metadata URL. You will get the URL after configuring Okta.
SAML
Select SAML and update the following fields:
dP Entity ID
IdP SSO Target URL
Signing Certificate
None
Select None to login to Qualitia with normal default credential.
Click Save to save the changes; else, click Discard.
Log in to Qualitia Server using SSO Credentials
Once you have configured SSO, log out from the server and then try logging in again using the SSO credentials.
Access Configuration from the left navigation menu.
Clicking Configuration will open Qualitia login popup window.
Click Use SSO to log in using SSO user credentials.
Clicking Use SSO will open Login using SSO popup window.
Enter the Email ID and click Login.
Create SSO User in Qualitia - Client
Log in to Qualitia - Client using the admin credentials.
Access User Management from left navigation.
Click Create User in the Users section.
This will open Create User window.
Enter
Name
User ID
Email ID
Note: The email ID used to create a user in the Okta application must match the email ID entered here.Click on the checkbox to the User Active
Click Save. A user is created with a default password.
 Discard if you have accidentally clicked.
Once an SSO user is created in Qualitia, you can log in to the Qualitia Client.
Log in to Qualitia - Client using SSO Credentials
Go to Qualitia - Client.
Click Use SSO to open the Login using SSO screen.
Click Login to continue login using SSO; otherwise, click Back.
Clicking Login will open a Okta Sign In page.
Enter the email ID used in Okta as well as Qualitia in the Username field and click Next.
Note: Ensure the Okta Verify app is installed on your mobile device for the respective operating system (iOS or Android) before proceeding.Clicking Next will send a push notification. You will receive the notification through the Okta Verify app installed in your mobile.
Note: You need to install the Okta Verification App in your mobile.Verify by clicking It’s me on your mobile application.
You will be logged in using the SSO credentials.
You can check the user details by clicking an icon from the bottom-left corner, as seen in the screenshot.
For the SSO user, the Change Password option will always be disabled. Only Admin has access to change the password for an SSO user.
