Qualitia Automation Studio is designed to be easily installed on both Windows Server and macOS systems. This documentation provides clear, step-by-step instructions for installing the software on each OS. This includes detailed guidelines for extracting installation files, setting up the necessary folders, and launching the software. With an installation or update time of just about a minute, you can quickly install and configure Qualitia Automation Studio on your preferred operating system.

🔑Prerequisites: 

Privilege requirements: 

1. Should have administrator privileges to install the software. 

2. System Requirements 

3. Before we start, make sure your computer meets the following hardware and software requirements: 

   1. Installer File Size: Approximately 3 GB  

   2. Server Hardware Requirements  

      1. Processor: 2.0 GHz or faster  

      2. RAM: 16 GB or higher  

      3. Disk Space: 4 GB or more  

   3. Software Requirements  

      1. Operating System: Windows Server 10x or later  

      2. Java: Java 8 (JRE 1.8) or higher  

      3. .NET Framework: .NET Framework 4.6 or higher  

      4. GIT 2.39.1  

🔀 Workflow and Process 

Installing the Qualitia Automation Studio-Server-9.0.0 <include Screenshot> 

1. Double click the QualitiaAutomationStudio-9.0.0.exe file to launch the installation process. This will extract the package which usually takes less than a minute.  

2. The installation screen titled Qualitia Automation Studio - Server Setup will appear. Click Next to continue.  

3. Qualitia installer will check for prerequisites, and if any are missing, you will be prompted to install them.  

4. Qualitia next gen installer will automatically check for perquisites. The current prerequisite is GIT, and you will be shown a confirmation message on whether prerequisite check has passed. 

5. Once all prerequisites are installed, click Next again to start the installation process. The software will extract the necessary files and create a folder in %localappdata%\QualitiaWDClient.  

6. Click install to install the Qualitia Automation Studio Electron (9.0) on your server. This will hardly take 4 minutes.  

7. The installation will continue smoothly. Once completed, you can see the Finish button is enabled.  

8. Once the installation is completed, the Qualitia Automation Studio portal will open in the default browser configured in your server. 

👁️‍🗨️ Verify Installation  

1.  After click Finish, the Qualitia Automation Studio portal will open indicating the installation is successful.  

Installing the Qualitia Automation Studio-Client-9.0.0  <include Screenshot> 

1. Once the Qualitia Automation Studio portal opens, you can download the Qualitia Automation Studio – Client – 9.0.0 by clicking Download.  

2. File size ~ 1 GB. The download will take less than 30 seconds.  

3. The installation screen titled Qualitia Automation Studio - Client Setup will appear.  

4. Read the EULA and check the consent checkbox to agree to the terms. You’ll be able to click Next only when the checkbox is selected.  

5. Click Next to continue.  

6. You will be prompted to select the Installation Types.  

   1. Everybody (all users) (recommended): This option will be selected by default.  Choose this option if any user who logs to the same machine should have access to Qualitia Automation Studio – Client.

   2. Only for me (Your profile name):  Choose this option if no other profiles in the machine should have access to Qualitia Automation Studio – Client.

7. Select the Installation Type and click Install to install the Qualitia Automation Studio - Client  

8. Once the installation is complete you will get the confirmation message. You will see a green check with the text Qualitia Automation Studio – Client is installed successfully.  

9. You can choose to launch Qualitia Automation Studio – Client by clicking on the checkbox and click Finish or if you want to do at a later time, uncheck the checkbox and click Finish or simply close the window by clicking X on the top right of the installer window.  

10. If you have chosen to launch Qualitia Automation Studio – Client by clicking on the checkbox Launch Qualitia Automation Studio 9.x.x and by clicking Finish, the Qualitia Automation Studio Client will open.  

11. You can verify the Qualitia Automation Studio Client installation by entering your User ID and Password.

To confirm the successful installation of the Qualitia Automation Studio – Client, find the installed software in your start menu or on your desktop, and open it. The main interface should appear without any error messages.

3. Administrative privileges: The installer requires administrator privileges to install the software. If you do not have these privileges, the installation will not proceed. 
   Remedial Step: Ensure you have administrator privileges before attempting to install the software. 

4. If any of the Qualitia Automation Studio Client is throwing a License Not Reachable check whether Qualitia Automation Studio service is running and is active. The other reason why this error message could come could be due to the fact that there is no seat available in the license server i.e you have purchased 20 client seats and all the 20 are currently active resulting in this error message.
