Qualitia Server Prerequisites

Qualitia Server is an RDBMS Server to which Qualitia Automation Studio connects to store and retrieve test cases, execution results, and other information.

You can use MySQL or Microsoft SQL (MSSQL) Server as Qualitia server based on your preference.

If you use MySQL, you can choose to install it on Windows/Linux or any other platforms supported by MySQL. Please see MySQL documentation for the OS and version compatibility of the required MySQL versions. Qualitia recommends using MySQL 5.7.

For MYSQL: MySQL 5.6 (any version 5.6.4 and above), MySQL 5.7 (recommended)

For MS SQL Server: MS SQL Server 2008 SP1+ and above

Qualitia Automation Studio Prerequisites

Qualitia Automation Studio is the client where you develop and execute automated tests.

Auxiliary software

Always download latest versions for all the below software to support the latest browser versions:

  1. Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 Preinstalled on Windows 8 and above.
  2. MS EXCEL 2007/2010/2013 or Kingsoft Spreadsheet 2016
  3. HP UFT / QTP v11 and above*
  4. Version Control Client (Recommended): SVN (Tortoise SVN 1.7, Tortoise SVN1.8, and Tortoise SVN1.9) or any other version control software that you wish to use.

(warning) Users can choose other version control systems as well.

Browser

Internet Explorer (IE), Mozilla Firefox (FF), and Google Chrome

 It is recommended to download and install the latest versions.

If you are testing Web applications, enable HP Functional Testing Add-on on the execution browsers (IE and Firefox).
