Configuring Log Level For Qualitia Design Studio Package

JIRA uses log4j logging module for capturing logs of different packages. By default, JIRA captures warn level logs for Design Studio. Administrator user can configure additional logging package to capture logs specific to Qualitia Design Studio.

For more information about different logging levels, please refer to the JIRA Documentation.

To configure log level:

  1. Log on to JIRA as an Administrator user.
  2. From the top menu items, click Administrator () icon and then select System.
  3. From the Troubleshooting and Support section (left pane), click Logging and Profiling.
  4. In the Default Loggers section, click the Configure logging level…link.
  5. In Package Name, enter com.qualitia.
  6. Select appropriate Logging Level.
  7. Click Add.

Enabling Qualitia Design Studio Add on in JIRA Server

You may have to enable the Qualitia Design Studio add on in JIRA once the JIRA server is restarted.

  1. Log on to JIRA as a user with an administrator privileges.
  2. From the top menu items, click Administrator () icon and then select Add on.
  3. Click the Manage add ons link in the left pane.
  4. Expand the Qualitia Design Studio section.
  5. Click Enable.
  6. Hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R) the browser to see the changes.

Unable to Connect to License Server. 

Starting v5.1.0, Qualitia Design Studio enforces licensing policy in order to be more robust. The license components get installed when installing Qualitia Server. If you come across this error, ensure:

  • Host name and port name is correct.
  • IP address is accessible in the network.
  • Port (usually 8889) does not have any restrictions that is causing connection failure. 
  • DNS and host name mapping is configured.
  • License is not expired.
