Qualitia recommends to use one of the following 64-bit JRE versions on which regression testing for QAS has been successful:
If you use QAS on the unrecommended JRE versions, you may get unexpected results. If you face any issues on such unsupported JRE distributions, you will need to contact Qualitia support for a resolution. Please note that in such a case, it may take time to resolve that issue..
Similarly, Qualitia does not recommend to use Java version higher than Java 8. If you install a higher Java version such as Java 9 or Java 11, then QAS may not work as expected.
Azul Java (Recommended)
Qualitia recommends to use Azul Java for the following reasons:
Free and open source (OpenJDK-based distributions with no field of use restriction)
Azul Java Development Kits and Java runtimes are certified fully compliant with the Java platform, Standard Edition (Java SE) specifications.
