If you have selected Internet Explorer to record any web application for the first time, Qualitia Automation Web recorder prompts to install the Qualitia IE recorder.
Qualitia Automation IE Recorder is an IE add-on that helps to record a web application on Internet Explorer.
You are prompted to install the IE recorder when you select Internet Explorer to record a web application for the first time only.
Pre-requisites:
You must have the Administrative Privileges to install IE add-ons
Close all the instances of Internet Explorer
To Install the Qualitia Automation IE Recorder:
After selecting Internet Explorer while recording a web application, the following confirmation message is displayed.
Click Yes if you have administrative privileges.
The following Windows confirmation message appears:
Click Yes.
If any IE instance is open, a message displays to close all Instances.
Close all the IE instances, and click Retry.Qualitia Automation Studio launches the IE browser.
In the launched IE browser, click Settings > Manage Add-ons.
Enable the IERecorder.
Click Settings > Internet Options > Security.
Under select a zone to view or change security settings, unselect the Enable Protect Mode checkbox for all the following options, and click OK:
Internet
Local Intranet
Trusted Sites
Restricted Sites
Refresh the Intenet Explorer
The recording strap of Qualltia Automation Web Recorder is displayed.
You can now start recording the web application using Internet Explorer.
