In order to log issues in JIRA for the defects found while executing test cases, you must first configure Qualitia project accordingly from Admin > Projects.

Settings configured here are set at the project level.  

To configure project to log issues in JIRA:

  1. Log on to Qualitia as a project administrator.
  2. Under the Admin section, click Projects.
    A list of existing Qualitia projects appear.
  3. In the Defect Management section, click Configure next to the project for which you want to configure JIRA as a defect management tool.
    A new window appears to fill-up the information about JIRA.
  4. Select Target Defect System as JIRA.
  5. Enter Server URL of JIRA. 
    Server URL is a combination of Hostname/IP and port on which JIRA is configured to work. For example:
    http://localhost:8080 or http://192.168.25.44:8080 
    In case JIRA is on cloud, enter the base URL. For example: 

    https://yourcompanyname.atlassian.net/secure/Dashboard.jspa
  6. Enter JIRA Username and Password.
  7. Click Get Projects.
  8. Select JIRA project from the drop-down list under which you want to log the issues. 
  9. Select Defect Priority using the drop-down list.
  10. Under Defect Attachment:
    1. Select the Attach Report option if you want to attach the Qualitia test case execution report when creating / adding issues.
    2. Select the Include Screenshots option if you want to add screenshots of the application under test when creating issues in JIRA. 
  11. Select Auto-Mode option if you want Qualitia to automatically log the issues in JIRA after the Suite execution is completed.
  12. Click Save to save the settings.

Defects in JIRA will be created with label Qualitia for easy identification.
