Qualitia recommends to use one of the following Qualitia certified 64-bit JRE versions of Java 8 on which regression testing for QAS Qualitia Automation Studio (QAS) has been successfultested successfully:
If you use QAS on the unrecommended JRE versions, you may get unexpected results. Although the Qualitia Support Team helps even if you use an unrecommended JRE version, but the team may take time to resolve the issues.
Similarly, Qualitia does not recommend to use Java version higher than Java 8. If you install Java version higher than Java 8 such as Java 9 or Java 11, then QAS may not work as expected.
Azul Java (Recommended)
Qualitia recommends to use Azul Java for the following reasons:
Free and open source (OpenJDK-based distributions with no field of use restriction)
Azul Java Development Kits and Java runtimes are certified fully compliant with the Java platform, Standard Edition (Java SE) specifications.
