Many requirements get added during the course of a project. The number of requirements may increase if there are many business rules acceptance criteria and corresponding activities present in the application under test. In such a case, it becomes practically difficult to search the requirements or epics. You can use Search option to easily search the desired requirements.

In addition to the normal string search, Qualitia users can also use different syntaces syntaxes to search the desired node like , such as, epic, story, and so on.

To search the requirements:

  1. Click Develop > Requirements.
    The Requirements screen appears.
  2. On the left pane, enter the desired story, epic, or business rule or acceptance criteria name in the Search field.
  3. Click Search.

To search a specific type of node:
You can use the following prefixes to search:

When searching for a specific node, the filter is applied only for the prefixed node type. Its children will not be affected and will be visible.

You can use the combination of specific string, patterns, and node to search the desired object in the left pane. 

For example:

If you want to search the business rule the acceptance criterion and the name of that business rule description of that acceptance criterion is Validate User Credentials, use the following syntax:
