In order to auto-enable creating issues for the test cases that have defects, you must configure settings accordingly.

  • Qualitia creates defects for each iteration separately.
  • Qualitia creates defect only when the test case status is Defect. If test case has steps with both the statuses (failed and defect), test case status is reported as failed, hence, issue will not be created in JIRA.

To automatically create issues in JIRA:

  1. Log on to Qualitia Automation Studio.
  2. On the Setting menu, click Configuration Settings. 
  3. Under the Defect section, ensure all the necessary details are entered like JIRA URL, Atlassian Account, and so on.
  4. Select Auto-mode.
    Issues will now be automatically logged into Atlassian JIRA (with the label "Qualitia") after the completion of test suites.
    For easy identification, issues created in JIRA are labeled as Qualitia.
