  1. From Expand Menu, click User Management.
  2. Click the Roles tab.
  3. In the left pane, select the role you want to edit.
  4. Click the Edit Role button ().
  5. Edit the name of the role in the Role box, if required.
  6. Edit the Description box, if required.
  7. (Optional) You can assign with new privileges or unassign with existing privileges.
  8. Click OK.
    The selected role is saved with the edited values. 

Changing a Role

To change the existing role of a user role for a project, follow these steps:

  1. Log into in to QAS using the Admin admin credentials.
  2. Click Project Management.
  3. Select the project for which you want to change the user role.
  4. Now, click Click Manage User.
  5. Select the user and from whose role you want to change.
  6. From the Role drop-down list, select the required role for you want to assign to the selected user.
  7. Click Add.
    The role is changed for the selected user.

Note: You cannot delete a role if it is assigned to a user.
