Cloning a test case lets you quickly replicate a test case. It is the replica of the original test case and has independent existence. Updates made to this test case does not impact original test case and vice versa.An Administrator, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Lead or Tester users have privileges to clone test cases.

- Sign in to Qualitia Design Studio and in the projects section, click on the desired project name under which the test case exists.
- From the top menu items, click Test cases.
- Select the test case which you want to clone.
- Click the menu options (
) next to the Share for Automation button and select Clone. - By default, the Name field of a cloned test case is prefixed with the string 'CLONE - ' to indicate that the test case is cloned.
You can update the name, story and hierarchy of the test case based on the requirements. - Click Clone.
