Qualitia allows you to create a replica of an existing task using the Save As task feature.  

Once created a replica is created, you can add steps to this task and remove unwanted steps without affecting the original task. 

To create a task using the Save As feature:

  1. Click Develop > Tasks.
    The Tasks screen is displayed. The screen is divided into two main panes, left pane and right pane. On the left pane, all the existing tasks are organized in tree structureOn the left pane, select the required taskappears. 
  2. Select the required task from the left pane.
  3. Click Save As.
    The Save Task As screen is displayedappears.
  4. Enter the Task Name and Description.
  5. Enter the File Name.
    This could can be any name as per the naming conventions supported by the operating system. The file is saved with .xml extension.
  6. Click Save.
    The new task is created quickly using the existing task.

You can now make changes to the newly created task according to your requirements. For more information about updating the task, please refer to the Editing a Task section.
