ptQualitia has Qualitia Automation Studio (QAS) operates on a client-server architecture. Qualitia server acts as a connection point for multiple Qualitia clients, where the QAS Server functions as the central connection hub for multiple QAS Clients. This server should be up and running all the time and should be accessible by Qualitia all QAS Clients.

Here are the steps to set up a group policy on Windows Server OS.:

  1. In the Group Policy Editor, navigate go to Console Root > Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components and locate Windows Installer.

  2. DoubleLocate and double-click Windows Installer.

  3. Double-click Turn Off Windows Installer. The Turn Off Windows Installer window opens to open its settings window.

  4. Select Enabled.

  5. In the Disable Windows Installer dialog box dropdown, select choose Never.

  6. Finally, click OKClick OK to apply the changes.

We recommend Oracle 17 as Oracle 11 has several vulnerabilities.

Qualitia allows you to install QAS using other JDK versions also. However, only the versions listed above are tested. If you use any other version, you may face issues while executing test cases.
