  1. Log on to Jira Server.
  2. From the top menu items, click Create.
    The Create Issue screen appears.
  3. In the Issue Type section, select Story.

  4. Select or enter other details such as Summary, Priority, Components, Description and so on.
    (tick)Fields available on this screen are based on configuration. In case you want to add or remove fields from this screen, use Configure Fields option at the top right corner.
    (info) If you do not find the Qualitia Automation option on the Configure Fields screen, configure your JIRA project to work with Qualitia Automation  Studio.   

  5. Select Epic Linkor Issue Type (such as Module Link).
    You can either select Epic Link or any other Issue Type link (such as Module Link). In order to sync this story with Automation Studio, you must link the story to the same project's epic or module.
  6. If the story is completely ready to be imported into Qualitia Automation Studio, select Qualitia Automation Story check box option.
    (tick) Selecting this option will make this story available for synchronization in Qualitia Automation Studio. It is recommended to select this option after adding all the required business rules acceptance criteria inside the story. 

    (warning) Once selected, this option cannot be deselected and the sequence for Activities' and Steps' added under business rules under acceptance criteria also cannot be modified. However, you can add or remove business rulesacceptance criteria, activities, and steps even when the option is selected. 
  7. Click Create.

Once a story is created, a user can add business rules add acceptance criteria and activities to the story.
