Before installing Qualitia Server, refer to the Prerequisites and System Requirements section.
To install Qualitia Server:

1. Download installer zip from the shared installer link and unzip file. If an installer is shared on a CD, open CD contents.
2. Double-click Qualitia Setup.exe.

The Qualitia Setup wizard is displayed.

1. Click Next.

The License section is displayed.

1. Select Yes, I accept the terms and conditions above in the License Agreement check box if you agree with the terms and conditions of the license agreement.

The Next button gets activated.

The Installation Type section is displayed.

1. Select Qualitia Server option.

The database Server section is displayed. Provide the required details.

Installing Qualitia Server

Qualitia recommends using File Share to keep Qualitia installable. This will help you to easily apply product updates in future.

To install Qualitia Server:

1. Open the File Share where you have unzipped Qualitia installable. 

2. Open the Server folder.

   Tip
   Executing Setup.exe from file server may take longer time. Therefore, it is recommended to copy Setup.exe on the local temporary folder.

   
   

3. Double-click Setup.exe.
   The Welcome to the Qualitia Setup Wizard screen is displayed.

4. Click Next.
   The Database Server Details section is displayed.

   Database Type	Select the Database server (MySQL or MS SQL Server)
   Server	Enter the Host Name or IP address of the Database Server
   Port	Enter the port number of the Database Server. The default value for MySQL is 3306. The default value for SqlServer is 1433. Contact Database Administrator for the port number of your database server.
   Database Name	Enter the database name.
   Authentication (For SqlServer only)	Select Authentication mode. SqlServer Authentication:  Login with SQL Server user account (Enter User ID and Password) Windows Authentication: Login with Windows account.
   User ID	Enter the database server User ID.
   Password	Enter the database server Password.

   
   

5. Click Next.
   The Admin User Details screen is displayed.

6. Enter admin credentials.

   Remember these credentials to access Qualitia for the first time as

1. Click Install to start the Server installation.

You will receive a confirmation that the Qualitia server has been installed.

1. You can immediately install Qualitia Client by clicking Install Client.

or you can install Qualitia Client later. Click Close to close the server installation window.

Once Qualitia Server is installed, you can proceed to install Qualitia Client.
To install Qualitia Client:

1. Double-click Qualitia Setup.exe.

The Qualitia Setup window with Welcome section is displayed.

1. Click Next.

The License section is displayed.

1. Select the Yes; I accept the terms and conditions above in the License Agreement check box if you agree with the terms and conditions of the license agreement.
2. The Next button is activated. Click Next.

The Installation Type section is displayed.

1. Select Qualitia Client option.

Setup performs Prerequisite check on your computer. If all the Prerequisite software is found and validated successfully, the Next button is enabled. If any Prerequisite is missing on your system, a message is displayed.

1. Click Next.

The java path screen is displayed.

• If Qualitia is able to detect Java 7 (currently Qualitia supports Java 7 only) on your machine, it will show the detected Java path. You can still click Browse and select another Java version of your choice (Select Java.exe file)
• If Qualitia fails to detect the Java path on your machine, you won't see Java Path on your screen. In this case, click Browse and select Java version of your choice (Select Java.exe file)

1. Click Next to proceed.

The Database Server Details screen is displayed. See the fields table for additional information on required fields.

Destination Folder screen with the default installation folder location will be shown. You can change this location by clicking on Change and selecting an alternative folder location to install Qualitia.

1. Click Install to install Qualitia Client.

If the dialog appears saying "Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to this computer?", click Yes.

1. The Qualitia Client is installed.

The installer confirms the successful installation of Qualitia Client.

1. Click Finish

   The Qualitia Update Location screen is displayed.

   Qualitia update location is the network shared location where Qualitia will look for update packages. Qualitia Admin should copy Qualitia update packages, when they are available, in the respective folders. Users can use the same folders created to save Qualitia installable on the File Server. All the Qualitia users should have Read Access to these folders. Anchor ProductUpdateLocation ProductUpdateLocation

   
   

2. Enter the details as follows;

   Server	Enter the location where Qualitia Server will check for updates in future.
   Client	Enter the location where Qualitia Client will check for updates in future.

   
   

3. Click Next.
   The Confirm Installation screen is displayed.
4. Click Install.
   The installation will get started and after a successful installation, the Installation Complete screen is displayed. 
5. Click Finish to exit the setup wizard.

Installing Qualitia Client

Once Qualitia Server is installed, you can proceed to install Qualitia Client.

To install Qualitia Client:

1. Open the Client folder where you have downloaded the Qualitia Software package. 

   Tip
   Executing Setup.exe from file server may take longer time. Therefore, it is recommended to copy Setup.exe on the local temporary folder.

   
   

2. Double-click Setup.exe.
   System will ask for permission to run the application, click Yes.
   The Qualitia License Agreement screen is displayed.
3. Once you have reviewed the agreement, select Yes, I accept the terms…, and then click Next.
   The Qualitia Installer screen is displayed.
4. Once installed successfully, click Finish.
   You can now start working with Qualitia.
5. To launch Qualitia, double-click the Qualitia icon on your desktop.
