👁️🗨️The following steps are to be performed to set up a group policy on Windows Server OS.
In the Group Policy Editor, navigate to Console Root > Local Computer Policy > Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components and locate Windows Installer.
Double-click Windows Installer.
Double-click Turn off Windows Installer. The Turn Off Windows Installer window opens.
Select Enabled.
In the Disable Windows Installer dialog box, select Never.
Finally, click OK
Steps for GIT Installation
Follow the below steps to verify or add GIT in System Variables.
Search Edit System Environment Variables on Windows.
Click Environment Variables.
Edit Path under System Variables.
Add new Environment Variable as "C:\Program Files\Git\cmd".
