  1. Login to Qualitia Automation Studio Client <insert Screenshot>

  2. Access Develop from left navigation of your Qualitia Automation Studio -Client to view Test Explorer screen.

  3. Click Objects icon from extreme right of the toolkit.

  4. You will see Object Repository.

  5. All the objects will be listed.

  6. Initiate Object Spy. For comprehensive guidelines on how to launch a web object spy, please refer to Launching Object.

  7. By default, you will land in Learn Objects Tab. <insert Screenshot>

  8. Click Repository tab.

  9. All the Pages from which the Objects captured under the Project will be listed.

  10. If you see a Red Dot on the Refresh icon, it indicates that a new object has been added to repository or updated by another user. Click the Refresh icon to update newly captured objects.

  11. If you see a Light Bulb icon next to an Object, it indicates that the Smart Locator is used to identify the Object.

  4. You will see Object Repository.All ,where all the objects will be listed.

  5. Click Refresh icon to update newly captured objects.

  6. Use the Seach bar to find Objects quickly.

  7. Use Expand All option to expand all the parent objects.

  8. Use Collapse All to hide the child Objects.

  9. Double Click on an Object to view Object Details.

The number next to Smart Object indicates the number of test cases in which this object is used. No number indicates, this Object is not used in any test case.

By Hovering on the info icon in the Object Details page, you can see the Object creator in Updated By and the date in which it got updated in Updated On details. If the object was not updated you will be seeing Created By and Created On details.

Viewing Test Cases Before Modifying Objects from Object Repository

Before updating an object, check which test cases might get affected. This can help you understand the impact of your changes. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Login to Qualitia Automation Studio Client <insert Screenshot>

  2. Access Develop from left navigation of your Qualitia Automation Studio -Client to view Test Explorer screen.

  3. Click Objects icon from extreme right of the toolkit.

  4. You will see Object Repository.

  5. All the objects will be listed.

  6. Double Click on an Object to view Object Details.

  7. Click the Number next to Smart Object.

  8. A new popup window will appear and list all the Test Cases that uses this Object.

  3. Click Objects icon from extreme right of the toolkit.

  4. You will see Object Repository.

  5. All the objects will be listed.

  6. Click Refresh icon to update newly captured objects.

  7. Double click on the Object you intend to edit.

  8. You will see the Object Details.

  9. Click Edit (pencil) icon to enable edit mode.

  10. Make necessary edits.

  11. Click Save to save the changes, and Discard if you had accidentally clicked.

  12. Upon clicking Save, you will see a message Object Created Successfully.

Info

If you see a Lock icon next to the Object Name, it indicates that it is being edited by a user. Hover on the lock icon to view the User who is currently editing the Object.
