  1. Login to Qualitia Automation Studio Client . <insert Screenshot>

  2. Access Develop from left navigation of your Qualitia Automation Studio -Client to view Test Explorer screen.

  3. Click Objects tab icon from the extreme right side of the screentoolkit.

  4. A slide-out panel will appear where the existing objects are listed.

  5. Click Refresh icon if you intend to check for new objects added by your team members.

  6. Click Expand All to expand all the parent objects so that you can view the parent and corresponding child objects.

  7. Click Collapse All to view only the parent objects and not see the child objectsYou will see Object Repository.

  8. All the Pages from which the Objects captured under the Project will be listed.

  9. All the Objects listed will be alphabetically sorted.

  10. Click Expand button before each web page to view the Objects under the page.

  11. If you are landing on this page for the first time, you will be seeing a bank Object Repository with a Create Object button.

  12. If you have 100s of objects use the Search to quickly search for the objects.

  2. Access Develop from left navigation of QAS your Qualitia Automation Studio -Client to view Test Explorer screen.

  3. Click Objects tab icon from the extreme right side of the screentoolkit.

  4. A slide out panel will appear where are the existing objects You will see Object Repository.

  5. All the Pages from which the Objects captured under the Project will be listed.

  6. Hover on the existing object if it exists or click the Create Object.

  7. Now, you have two options:

    1. To create a parent object, click on Add Object at same level.

    2. To create a child object, find the parent object under which you want to add the child in the left pane. Then, click Add Contained Object button.

      1. Enter the Object Name and Description.

  8. Choose the Class from the drop-down list.

  9. Select the Locator Type and enter the corresponding Locator ValueClick Expand button before each web page to view the Objects under the page.

  10. If you are landing on this page for the first time, you will be seeing a bank Object Repository with a Create Object button.

  11. Click Create Object button.

  12. This will open a form where you can

    1. Enter a Name for the Object.

    2. If you want to use the

    SmartLocator
    1. Smart Locator feature during execution, make sure to check the

    SmartLocator checkbox.
    1. Smart Object checkbox.

    2. Choose Technology from the dropdown.

    3. Choose the Class from the dropdown.

    4. Add a Description.

    5. (Optional) If you want to specify a Time Out, enter it in seconds.

    6. (Optional) If you want to specify a Polling Interval, enter it in milliseconds. Remember, if you specify these, Qualitia will use the Explicit Wait mode during execution, overriding the values specified in the associated execution profile.

    7. Select the Locator Type and enter the corresponding Locator Value.

  13. If you want to continue adding another object right away, check the Create Another checkbox.

  14. Click Save to finishadd the object to repository, else click discard to avoid saving in repository.

  15. Now, you have two options:

    1. To create a parent object, click on Add Object at same level.

    2. To create a child object, find the parent object under which you want to add the child in the left pane. Then, click Add Contained Object button.

      1. Follow the same process for adding an Object (9).

      2. In case of Child Object, select the Parent from the dropdown.

  16. If you want to continue adding another object right away, check the Create Another checkbox.

  17. Click Save to add the object to repository, else click discard to avoid saving in repository.

Remember, you can add an SFDC object using either the SFDC:Label or XPath locator types. And if you're working on a Salesforce project, you can also add web and mobile objects for the associated web and mobile application objects.
