To create a temporary user:

  1. On Admin menuFrom the Expand Menu, click User .
    The Users screen appears with a list of available users in a tabular format.Click New.
    The New User screen appearsManagement.
  2. In the left pane, click the Add User button (Image Added).
  3. Enter the User ID.
  4. Enter the User Name.
  5. Enter an Email ID.
  6. Select a Role.
  7. Clear the Active check box to make the user inactive, if required.
  8. Click OK Add.

A user is created with a default password. If you do not know the default password, contact the Qualitia administrator.

To create a user from Active Directory:

  1. On Admin menuFrom the Expand Menu, click User Management. Users screen is displayed.
  2. Click New.
    The New User screen appears.
  3. Click Search
  4. In the left pane, click the Add User button (Image Added).
  5. The Search Users screen appears.
    The LDAP Users pane of the screen displays a list of users in a tabular form.
  6. To locate a particular user quickly, enter User Name and click Search.
    The specified user appears on the LDAP Users pane.
  7. Select the specified user from LDAP Users pane.
  8. Click OK Add.
    Qualitia navigates you back to the New User screen. User ID, User Name, and Email ID fields of this screen display the values of the selected user.
  9. Clear the Active check box to make the user inactive, if required.
    The Active check box is selected by default in Qualitia.
  10. Select the System check box, if the user is a System user.
  11. Click OK.
