You can also add Insight objects to the Object Repository (tsr file) in order to use them when developing test cases. For more information about adding Insight Objects in the Object Repository (tsr file), please refer to the HPE UFT Documentation.
For easy identification, Insight objects are displayed with the icon in the objects tree.

Afte specified in Global TSR path is updated, you need to sync the OR objects with latest

  • If a user has added any non-supported objects in tsr, Qualitia displays such objects in the report before synchronization.

  • On the Objects screen, you can view the complete information for every objects including the last date and time on which it was updated and synchronized from tsr.

  • If multiple users are using the same tsr file simultaneously, anyone user can go ahead to Sync TSR  to get the updated set of objects available in tsr. Until the synchronization completes, it does not allow other users to sync or cancel the syncing.

  • In case the application under test consist some non-English characters as object names, CSV may not be able to display it properly.

  1. Go to Admin > Project.

  2. Click Edit to next of the project.

  3. Click Browse to locate another TSR file which you want.

  4. Click anyone of the following buttons:

    • Preview: To preview the report of modified objects. After viewing the objects, you can Proceed or Abort as explained below.

    • Proceed: To merge new set of objects with existing object repository.

    • Abort.: To cancel syncing with newer TSR file. It is recommended to preview the summary report carefully.
