Instead of recreating a task, using Save As feature you can create a task from any existing task whose requirements are similar to the new task with a few changes. You Qualitia allows you to create a replica of an existing task using the Save As task feature.
Once created a replica, you can add steps to this task and remove selective unwanted steps without affecting the original task. This saves valuable time by allowing you to create a task using an existing task.

To create a task using the Save As feature:
- Click Develop > Tasks.
The Tasks screen is displayed. The screen is divided into two main panes, left pane and right pane. On the left pane, all the existing tasks are organized in tree structure

- On the left pane, select the required task.
- Click Save As.
The Save Task As screen is displayed

- Enter the Task Name and Description.
- Enter the File Name.
This could be any name as per the naming conventions supported by the operating system. The file is saved with .xml extension. - Click Save.
The new task is created quickly using the existing task. You can now make changes to the newly created task according to your requirements.
