In order to log issues in TFS/Azure DevOps for the defects found while executing test cases, you must first configure Qualitia accordingly from the configuration settings.

  1. Log on to Qualitia Automation Studio.
  2. From the Setting menu, click Configuration Setting.
  3. In the Defect Creation system section, enter the following information related to TFS/Azure DevOps and then click Save.
Target Defect SystemSelect TFS from the drop-down menu.
Server URL

Enter the TFS/Azure DevOps URL.

 

For example:

  • https://dev.azure.com/OrganizationName
  • https://desktop-9t4vs45n/tfs/DefaultCollection
PAT

Enter personal access token required for authentication.

You will get this information in the Security section under the profile section of TFS/Azure DevOps instance.

Get ProjectsClick this button to connect to TFS/Azure DevOps server mentioned above and get the list of all the available projects.
ProjectSelect the TFS project from the drop-down list where you want to log the defects.
Defect PrioritySelect the defect priority to be set while defect creation.
Defect SeveritySelect the defect severity to be set while defect creation.
Defect Attachment
  • Attach Report: Select this option if you want to attach the Qualitia test case execution report when creating / adding issues.  
  • Include Screenshots: Select this option if you want to add screenshots of the application under test when creating issues.
Logging ModeAuto-mode: Select this option if you want Qualitia to log the issues in TFS/Azure DevOps after the Suite execution is completed.
